A new permanent foraging area has appeared...

Welcome to Halcyon Beach, a serene little spot where you can search around for various odds and ends!

With the introduction of a new foraging area, I'd also like to announce that I will eventually be reworking the other permanent foraging areas, the Abandoned City and Caldera!
They'll remain the same for now, though, as I'm on break. I just wanted to open this area up for now as a little treat! Enjoy the new foraging area and the little goodies that appear, in the meantime!

Hello, everyone! I'm so excited to announce that we now have our first Cultivation area functional and ready to use!

Step into the Glowlit Caves to cultivate a rare fruit known as the Glowpeach!

In order to unlock the cultivation area, you will need to complete a permanent, once-per-user prompt: Glowlit Cave Expedition! This can be completed at any time to unlock the farming area and a handful of items you can use to cultivate your first Glow Peaches... It can be accessed at any time in the Special Prompts category of the prompt page!

In the future, a Gardening Shop will be opened up to buy supplies! For now, you can obtain your first seeds through the prompt.

New Features

Along with our first cultivation area, we have a handful of new site features!

User Shops

User Shops can now be accessed through the World tab in the navigation bar! To create your shop, head over to My Shop under home! You can stock items using Quickstock from your Inventory, also accessable via Home. Please keep in mind not to create offensive images for your shop front, as that can result in a warning or a ban if the infraction is severe enough. (Basic decency rules apply; don't use offensive memes or images meant to harm photosensitive people!)

Certain items are not stockable, such as key items and the likes.

Awards

Yep, we now have Awards! None have been created yet, though... but there's a neat little area to display them on your profile, when the time comes that you'll earn them! These will be used for future events and the likes, showing that you participated in various activities!

Mod Mail

Moderators can now send users messages privately! This may be used for discussing payments or discussing other private matters.

Theme Manager

Along with all of the other new additions to the site, we now have a Theme Manager! We have yet to create any themes for it, but they'll be accessible sometime in the near future. If you're a HTML/CSS coder and want to help us out in exchange for some Amicabot items/MYOs, please reach out to us!

A new daily has arrived!

Head on over to the Abandoned Theme Park every day to spin the wheel! For the price of 10 Spare Parts, a randomly-determined prize will be all yours!

This daily is permanently accessible under Dailies in the Play tab on-site! I hope you all enjoy this fun little feature! :D

Hello, Amicabot community... and hello to anyone who'd like to join in on the fun of this species! I'm hosting a FTO-only MYO ("make your own") event from now until the end of March 15th! Now that the regrowth event has settled down, some Amicabots have been thinking more about tech than greenery... leading some to decide to research how to build an entirely new Amicabot! Building a new friend is all the rage this season, will you try it yourself?

The Building Beginnings event introduces a new function - Buildables! Read more about them here, and potentially get some of your own by participating in the latest event.

This event will last until the end of March, potentially being extended depending on feedback.

Be sure to get your daily Blueprints, and if you need more, complete any of the event prompts! Blueprints may be spent in the Event Shop to obtain a new kind of MYO - BYOs (build-your-owns), and BYOs will become a permanent addition to Zip's Station after the event, and potentially obtainable in future events as well.

Welcome to the Amicabots Companion Gacha! This is our very first time selling official Companion adopts, and we've got a great selection of Over 50 Designs by our amazing moderator and permanent guest artist team! This Gacha includes both Robuddies and Domestic Gaskits!

The prices are, as follows:
$8 for a random Robuddy roll
$10 to choose a specific Robuddy

$10 for a random Gaskit roll
$15 to choose a specific Gaskit

The Spare Part rolls are still 10 for a Robuddy and 15 for a Gaskit!

There will be two parts to this: a USD/deviantart point prortion, which is first come/first serve, and a spare part portion, which is will be a raffle that's paid in spare parts if you're chosen!

Hello, Amicabot community! I come to you all with news! Read all about it below, as there are several new features that have been added!

The little things

We have a mini clock, and our site time has turned from UTC to EST! This will likely affect daily and prompt rollovers, so please keep this in mind!

The PLAY tab & Dailies

If you're looking to forage or craft, you can now find them under the "Play" tab beside the gallery on our website's navagation bar! You'll also be able to obtain your free Daily Spare Part through the Play tab! This means that the Daily Spare Part box will no longer be available through Orion's Oddities... to make up for this change, you'll be able to obtain a new free weekly Box of Stuff from Orion! It contains two mystery items, which range from crafting ingredients to pets to trait items, with crafting ingredients being a bit more common!

Featured Character & new Prompt

Head over to the front page of the Amicabots website to view another new thing: Featured Characters! Each week, a random character will be selected to be featured. You can complete the Featured Character Prompt once per week with each new featured character! Each week you complete it, you will earn two Kindness Tokens.

Upcoming Features

You may notice the "Cultivation" link in the Play tab... while it doesn't lead to anything yet, you'll eventually be able to do some farming in that area! Stay tuned for that, as it hasn't been developed just yet.

In the same note, the Adoption Center isn't available yet for the public, but in the future, it will be used to sell adoptables for on-site currency!

If you've looked around in the Encyclopedia lately, you may have noticed some particularly... unique traits, or perhaps a mysterious subtype for Amicabots.., If you're wondering how to get these Amicabots, that hasn't been revealed yet! Nobody has any of these yet, but if you want to get a step closer to making one for yourself, you can complete acts of kindness to win over the hearts of these rare Amicabots some day. Perhaps before they're released for MYOs, you might find one in the... gacha?

Gacha: Round 3!

Yep, that's right! We're having another Amicabot gacha! This one will be designed by moderators and will be $30 / 30 Spare Parts per roll. The estimated date that the Gacha will launch is March 16th, but we'll have more details released about a week before the gacha begins. Round 3 will be a smaller scale sale than the previous Gachas to make maintenance easier for me, but having a smaller gacha this time only means that the next Gacha will come out sooner! (Round 3 might get a second or third part or so on, depending on the success of this month's gacha!)
