Key elements to keep in mind when designing an Amicabot:

• The faceplate (lines joining from one side of the face to the other, typically around the cheeks or split between the head) must be clearly visible on the head.
• The core, located in the center of the chest, must be present.
• Amicabots do not have noses, and defined noses are not allowed.
• Amicabots must have visible snouts and cannot have flat faces unless they are part of the Nano subtype.

For information about Amicabot traits, please proceed to the Trait Encyclopedia page.

Amicabots generally have segmented joints to appear robotic or like ball-joint dolls; these physical details aren't entirely enforced, but an Amicabot should be designed to clearly be robotic or android-like, as they lack organic flesh. Additionally, Amicabots should not bedeliberately designed to resemble other species (real-life, open, or closed) so much that it's impossible to distinguish them as Amicabots.

Body types & personal appearance:

• Amicabots may not be made to resemble human or humanoids, anatomically; they are an anthro (and sometimes feral) species!
• You may stylize an Amicabot in any way you like, so long as it retains key species features mentioned above.
• Amicabots' Cores can be shaped in any way, as long as they remain on the chest.
• Amicabots bodies may be bipedal, quadropedal, or fully anthropomorphic. They may have digitigrade or plantigrade legs.
• There is no limit on body types so long as they are not fetishistic or overly suggestive/explicit; Amicabots may be any body type.
• Breasts are allowed, as are top surgery scars. Scars of any type may be additionally added for free, but must not resemble detailed wounds, as Amicabots are not organic creatures.
• Missing limbs are not traited and can freely be added in designs/redesigns unless using the Naga trait, which removes legs in favor of a snake-like tail.
• Mobility aids, prosthetics, wheelchairs, visibility aids, and any kind of features resembling real-life disabilities are not traited and can be freely added.
