Welcome to another big update, right after the last one!

Today, we bring you... fetch quests! Mira is looking for various items from the surface to complete her collection, and now you can trade with her over in Fetch Quests! She'll grant the Pearl currency, which will have future  use in obtaining Nauticava MYOs and trait items. While you can't spend the pearls now, you will be able to as soon as the shop for them opens up!

Gift boxes & Wrapping

You can now wrap items and pets as gifts! These gifts can be sent to other users or donated right to the donation shop. You'll have the option of choosing whether or not the gifts are a surprise, too!

You can grab Giftwrap in the General Store any time, for just 2 spare parts a piece!

Whoa, check out that warning sign! It's here to catch your attention, for... big updates have come to the site!

An outline of the updates:

• Content Warnings have been given an icon, and can now be added to characters on your profile. Please don't abuse this feature and add needless warnings just to hide characters' masterlist image; content warnings should only be used with their intended purpose! (such as horror themes or common phobias like clowns, spiders, etc.)
• Birthday Rewards will be given during birthday months. Currently, the only birthday reward is a Coolant Cupcake, but I'll make something better further down the line when I have more energy!
• Fetch Quests are going to be added soon! They are currently accessible via the Play tab, but there isn't anything there yet. Keep an eye out for a future announcement on that!
• The Navigation Bar has had a bit of a revamp, which I will detail below!
• Selected Character on profiles now show the character icon.

Navigation bar updates:

• A new Shops tab has been created for the main shops, user shops, and adoption center!
• Prompts have been moved into the Play tab!
• A link to the Guides page has been added to the World tab!

Bugs that have been fixed:

• Pet drops have now been fixed. The dirt drop for Shimmering Snifters has been patched out for now (sorry!) Look forward to future updates on pet drops some day now that they work properly!
• Two secret bugs that only admins and prompt moderators could see have been fixed. Hurray!
• Orion can finally stock his shop with new items.

A new category of prompts, Limited Prompts, has been released!

Like monthly prompts, these prompts will cycle in each month and give a special non-transferrable currency, Pearls! Pearls will be granted in addition to Spare Parts, so don't forget to calculate criteria to earn your usual art rewards for these prompts! Each month will bring two new Limited Prompts, when the old ones will cycle out.

Unlike monthly prompts, there will be two Limited Prompts each month! You'll also be able to complete each prompt two times! Each prompt grants 5 Pearls, meaning you can earn a total of 20 Pearls per month!

Pearls aren't spendable yet, but this update will give you a head start on being able to earn them for when the Nauticava shop opens up!

As time goes on, the apocalypse that had formed most of Amicabot society begins to grow further in view - which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, or a good thing - simply something that happens. But for Amicabot culture, it means one thing new. Rebuilding efforts have been needed less, which leaves more room for another important aspect of culture to grow - art.

Some Amicabots have begun to write plays, other make pottery. Communities to share poems, drawings, knitting, music, and more have began to form. One of these many communities of like-minded Amicabots banded together over their love of a specific artform - video games.

After finding a half-made game left by the predecessors in a development building, a small team of passionate Amicabots banded together to finish it themselves - hoping that their efforts and the work of their past creators could become something that would inspire the future of the artform. By developing the game further, they realized that it could run on their very own hardware, allowing Amicabots to experience a unique virtual-reality experience. Of course, a version for traditional VR devices was built alongside it, for any curious Nauticava or Robuddies who want to adventure alongside their friends.

Daily life-threatening adventures are par for the course for some Amicabots, but for those who yearn for adventure from the safety of their own home, Eternal Dungeons was released - a massive online game that can be played from the comfort of home. Although an Amicabot will feel as though the experiences in the game are real, the dangers are not, allowing them to safely explore and feel like a hero.

What are you waiting for? The download link has spread all across Aerthir-32’s Internet! All your friends are playing it!

Hello, all! I come to you with another update... the Making Friends update! You can now purchase Making Friends: A Pet Building Guide at the General Store!

Buy it up to three times to obtain all recipes for new Craftable Pets!

To obtain these craftable pets, you'll need several existing crafting ingredients, as well as the most important new ingredient: the Battery! The Battery cannow  be found when foraging in the Abandoned City, as well as through the general store - with limited stock of 5 per day, once weekly per user.  (Note: stock may be adjusted in the future, but finding batteries in the apocalypse can be a challenge!)

A smaller detail worth announcing: Scrap Metal now has an updated image, because I wanted some nicer art for it!

We have a new foraging area, the Badlands!

This foraging area costs 5 Spare Parts to forage in, but only uses 1 Stamina to forage!
In the Badlands, you can find some returning items as well as FIVE NEW TRINKETS and FIVE NEW PETS!

You can see them in the spoiler tab below... or find them yourself by foraging in the new area, perhaps!

Hi, everyone! I come bringing an update with... a couple of new trait items, for traits you could only previously obtain through MYOs!

Goo Fruit grants the Gooey trait.

Serpent Idol grants the Naga trait.

These items are permanently obtainable in the Upgrade Shop for Spare Parts.

Stay tuned for more trait items in the future; my goal is to make items for every trait of Premium rarity and below!

I hope you're all having a good July! I've got a few things to update you all on... It's a smaller update, but worth mentioning!

First of all, we have a new Summer seasonal trait, Sea Growth! It can be obtained with the seasonal trait item, Unusual Reef!
This can be obtained in the Upgrade Shop until August 1st.

Additionally, a new wild critter has been released! The Reefskipper can be found permanently in Halcyon Beach when foraging. You can click the image below to learn a bit about it and see its shiny variant!

As July goes on, this is a reminder that we have Art Fight incentives! Submit Amicabot (or Nauticava/Companion species) art here for some bonus rewards on top of your Art Fight points! You can do this prompt up to 20 times!

We're mixing things up a bit and launching the Nauticava MYO event on Toyhouse!
