AMI-1297: Tethys

In Greek mythology, Tethys was a Titan daughter of Uranus and Gaia, a sister and wife of the Titan Oceanus, and the mother of the river gods and the Oceanids.

In accordance with this famous mythological tale, the amicabot Tethys bears the Titan's name as a symbolic reflection of her designated function. Tethys was designed with the intent of monitoring the endangered fish species , reporting back in the case of an anomalous fluncuation of their population. Of course, after the eruption, this role was rendered useless; instead, she repurposes significant properties like thermal shock resistance and resistance to corrosion to access difficult areas such as the caldera or propogate other types of underwater research, ultimately dedicating herself to amicabot society. ^^

Tethys is programmed to be disciplined and dutiful, which results in her constant agitation around antithetical amicabots that are very carefree. She is very subservient around authority figures and delights in the company of critters, especially those underwater. Someone needs to teach her how to have fun tho 🙏
