Shipwreck Discovery!
The water was all still, silent and peaceful. Not a splash or scream or surprise attack. Rook walked across the ocean floor, well more floated along, while smiling to himself. He always enjoyed the small peace and quiet he's sometimes able to grasp onto and achieve. He was glad that Amir was too much of a coward, even if he refuses to admit it, to go swimming in the water. He also knew that he would probably not see Chip anywhere here anyway, after all they're always with Amir.
Walking along, he stared up at any fish that were swimming by, but would also look down to see any little creatures who might be wandering around. He always made sure to pet any Urchin he came across, he felt a connection to them after all, always making sure he did not damage their spikes.
He's smiling as he walks along, the blue clear waters were incredibly pretty, with the outside light being able to hit the water just right to make it look beautiful, he's smiling up at it. The soft pale yellow sand at the bottom was also very nice when he came upon it, he was more used to the hard black stones that covered the floor.
He was very glad he was somewhat built for this, being somewhat based on an urchin he had filters added specifically for swimming, only needing to add a small mechanism to make sure he doesnt shut down in the water. He even had a urchin holding onto his tail, which he smiled at, planning to release it back when he would go to leave.
He's ready to dip himself into darker and deeper parts of the ocean, hoping the things he finds there would be very cool, but stops himself. He looks over on what he thinks is a sunken ship wreck.
He swims his way over to it, tilting his head. There was little fish living in the small holes and plants that had grown around it, he smiled and went closer, before stopping again. He saw a big shark, nearly, if not bigger than your average Amica, which he did not want to mess with or disturb. So he kept extremely still, hoping it didn't see him as prey and just went by. The shark was just slowly floating around, swimming through the ship wreck. He smiles slowly looking at it, going to the vessel at his own pace, he didn't believe the shark would actually harm him, he was just worried. It didn't, the shark just swam along, he swore he could hear it start to hunt after it was gone, but it was not Rook's problem.
He slowly went inside, and was pleasantly surprised at the variety of fish making this thing their home. It was filled with life on all corners, some sea creatures he has read about like the Violet Shiny Squid, the Cephaloplead, the Marine Specimens, and many of the other critters he knows about, as well as some new ones he hasn't seen, like a rainbow like fish, a fish with scales and armor much like a shrimp, an isopod that's spikey, and all that. He smiles at his little discovery, and just stands there to look at it all for a minute. He then slowly floats in to continue looking around.
Enjoying the peace of it all, he felt bad whenever one of the creatures swam back, not wanting to scare them. He looked all around at the shape and style of the vessel, wondering if this was recent or old. He saw it was quite broken down, so it was either a rather rough sinking, or just decay over time. He also saw a flag, which he tried to look at and grab onto, but unfortunately the dye or whatever was making the things on it had all but washed away, but still held onto it, maybe someone would want it. He couldn't tell if this was a supply ship that went down, a pirate ship, or some other huge ship thing. Chuckles slightly as he looks through, not wanting to tug away at any of the wood planks in fear of it all crashing down on top of him.
The urchin that was hugging up onto his tail the whole time, slowly crawled off and was going across the floors and walls of the ship wreck. He blinked, tilting his head slightly, but followed it anyway. The vessel was old, as he could now see. There were cracks all along it, many of them were filled with algae and other like plants. The water was more murky inside of the ship wreck, looking more darkish pale green rather than the bright blue he normally saw, but that was probably because of all the algae and seaweed lacing the place. The urchin was able to fit into a small crack of a door that seemed to be locked, but when Rook went to test and move it around a bit, most of it just crumpled in front of him, leaving him blinking and slightly shocked. But sighed, and continued to walk through the door, looking to see where the urchin was taking him.
Inside the room seemed to be like a captain's office or room, with old, wet, and basically useless maps on the walls, with a desk and old compass looking thing, which Rook happily took.
The urchin then rested itself right on top of a medium sized chest, with a big lock on it. He tilted his head, kneeling over to it, and slowly putting his spikes in the lock, trying to pick it or destroy it in a way. After a solid minute of knocking it around and trying, it finally popped open, Rook feeling accomplished. Slowly getting up to look in the chest, he was expecting something small, not much, but instead it had a pretty decent amount of gold, nothing life changing, but it could rake in some real money. He smiles wide after looking at it longer than it took to open it, and looks up to the urchin, so happy, he pat the urchin again, before going to try and drag the chest out of the ship. It was quite heavy, but he was able to maneuver around to get it out, the urchin still following him, he tilted his head slightly at it, but continued moving the chest.
Dragging it out of the ship wreck, then making it against the ground, urchin still following. At first he was worried that the urchin wouldn't survive if it came out with him, and did not want to bring it, but he felt bad for it. So he slowly picked up the urchin, putting it on his head between the spikes, smiling, then continuing to drag the chest out of the water, smiling with the new things and friend he's found and collected.
