"Do you think the sun gets upset?"

Galitor looked next to him, confusion washing over his face as he looked at the other amicabot. Magnoli looked back with sad silence, as if waiting for the purple bot to answer. He would have much preferred if he could just stay silent and watch the eclipse without being bothered, but Gali knew better than to ignore questions like that from Magnoli.

They reached a claw out to the sky, motioning their hand as if it was caressing the eclipse in the sky. "I think it's the opposite, really." Galitor started. Magnoli looked up to the sky as Gali started to speak, admiring the way that the moon covered the sun and how all of the light that should have hit the ground was misplaced.

"The moon rarely gets as much attention as the sun when it comes down to it. Sure, a lot of people put their hearts towards the moon, but not as many people are actually nocturnal. We spend so much of the moon's time sleeping and shunning her, and this is one of the only times she gets the respect she truly deserves."

Magnoli nodded, "So the moon is lashing out at the sun?" To that, Galitor sighed and crossed his arms. "Alright, let's not go too far into the dramatics. They're pieces of plasma and rock in the sky, it's not that deep, Magnoli."

The two of them enjoyed the rest of their eclipse in relative silence, sometimes interrupted by the conversations of other amicabots who were also watching the eclipse. Gali knew that when they got home, Magnoli was going to start asking questions about space again- but for now, the purple naga appreciated the darkness, peace, and quiet.
