Ash makes a fish !

Ash sat in her room and stared at the parts in front of her. It was a little needle, a pair of scissors, some purple fleece fur, a sewing pattern, some buttons, cotton, and markers. The pattern was in the shape of a lovely little betta fish. She was instructed by this pattern to cut out the fur and sew it accordingly. She had never done this before, she was built to make pastries. Her specialty was doughnuts and croissants, not fleece and Buttons. She was already getting overwhelmed by this task.

Slowly she calmed herself and took a closer look at the instructions on the paper. She was just going to do this step by step.

She picked up the scissors and cut out the pattern from the paper, making sure to leave the instructions intact. Her lines were shaky but she did her best, it was readable.

Next step was to cut out the fur, she put the paper against the fur and held it with her claws. She was a bit more confident in her cutting skills so she quickly cut out the pattern in just a few minutes. The fish would be no bigger than her forearm now that she sees everything laid out.

Now was the scary part, actually sewing the parts together. She marked the areas to sew with the markers available, all she had to do was sew the pieces together according to those lines.

She started to get stressed again but remembered this was only her first time doing it, she would be better next time. So she started sewing the pieces, eventually gaining some speed. Her many fingers made it easy for her to hold the fleece together. After about a half hour she had almost finished the fish.

Next step was to stuff the fish pieces, it could be done however she preferred, more firm or more soft. She wanted more soft. She grabbed a handful and stuffed the body, head, and fins of her project. It was actually pretty cute by time she finished! All she had to do was sew the last holes closed and then attach the pieces together. She was proud of herself for doing this!

Once she got everything closed she added on the fins, tail, and head. She lastly put the buttons on for little eyes, they were bright pink. It was pretty adorable, she thought. She was glad she did it, she is excited to make another one someday!
