[WRITING] Chyges Log #1

7th of November-

  Today I was created. My goal is to collect data and study creatures, using my special technology to send it to [REDACTED]. I have looked around for places of study, and encountered many different Amicabots of interest. But for now I need to focus on my first goal.

9th of November-

  I found a library. Most of the books are put into digital form. . .  I do not know if that is the correct usage of the word. I asked the librarian about physical books as I am programmed to prefer them. The robot led me to another room where a lot of older looking robots were reading. 

 It pointed me to a shelf for those first starting their new life, before commenting on “how strange it was for my model to prefer this”. I said nothing to that and grabbed the first book on the list provided. “History of life before awakening” was the first book. Reading through and writing down notes to send back led me to understand how idiotic the previous people were. Not much of a surprise.

21st of November-

  I have combed the entire library and learned all I could. It’s time I start collecting items and creatures, or “critters and companions” as the robots call them for experiments and study. Will write a log entry on my first specimen.

4th of October-

  I decided to experiment on my robotic body on the 27 of November. It did not go well and I “crashed”. Luckily nothing was corrupted and the robot “Suzie” was able to fix what I broke. May need to look into buying parts and a “build your own “ kit. Until then I will continue to use my own body.

5th of December-

  My traps finally caught some creatures. I marked them down as 1 through 6. Some of the specimens were thin from lack of food, meaning they were caught very early on. I put them in hutches, then I grabbed some food for them and gave them some liquids to drink. I analyzed the “water” and found it to be different from water that [REDACTED]. Will need to research further.

8th of December-

  A new variant of Specimen-0006 was collected. Specimen-0007 was disinterested in Specimen-0006.

9th of December-

  My traps caught a strange creature. looking at the files I have, This creature is called an “Artic Specimen”, but I think I will give it a name.

Addendum: I was told not to name it. This may cause issues but I [REDACTED]

28th of December-

  Nothing was caught these past days, but I was able to collect more currency and discovered that some Amicabots have non-spreadable viruses, by getting affected by one with “Pop-Ups” and seeing some with strange flickering grain and “Glitches”. I do not know what to do to prevent these incidents.

3rd of January-

  I caught a variant of Specimen-0003. Specimen-0008 sparks with electricity, so I put it in a glass box. The robot isopod seemed to stop sparking and looks upset.

20th of Janurary-

  Specimen 0009 through 0012 were caught. They seem more restless than the other specimens.

1st of February-

  I have a new specimen, but it was able to break out multiple times. Tired of this nonsense Specimen-0013 was placed into an enclosure. I am starting to get tired of this.

6th of February-

  A small Amicabot called “Wheat” has opened up a “Pet Shop”. I decided to start shopping there for easy specimens. The small one was reluctant to hand over the creatures due to rumors spreading about me, but eventually gave in. I acquired Specimen-0014, 0015, and 0016, as well as more enclosures to ensure that I would not have any more “escape artists”.

7th 0f Feburary-

 1 tr1ed to c0llect a new creature, but bef0re 1 c0uld a very 1nfected r0b0t had glitched me. 1 am sl0wly rec0vering. 1 pray 1ts not permanent.

10th of Feburary-

   I have recovered. I went out to check the traps and found the runaway. On the way back I visited the Pet Shop run by Wheat once more and bought specimen-0017, 0018, and 0019. The Mock Seedling I gave the number 0020.
