Opalescent became an ocean researcher after witnessing a mystical event with a giant creature at the ocean in her early robot life, which got her this peculiar bluish purple scale that shimmered like a precious gem.

Thus, she set out to find one of the finest upgrade shops to get herself a merform and gills (they filter the water into a power source, as her core is covered whenever she goes in the water, because... well it's nuclear and that doesn't need to leak into the sea and have water rushing in xD)

Now she explores the sea, documenting all that she finds, and hopes to find that one creature that she came across, and figure out what they are.
